This is the rescheduled event from February when extreme winter weather required us to postpone.
Our 2017 Wine Seminar Series continues with an event aimed at demystifying the question of food and wine pairing, the number one most commonly asked question in our tasting room.
Chef Dyon Foster, founder of Chef’s Palette Spice Rubs Company, will prepare two common dishes which will be used as a foundation from which guests will experience how our palates perceive acidity, sweetness, fat, ‘umami’ and spiciness. These simple dishes and palette of ingredients will combine with a tasting alongside four wines selected by Chef Foster and our own Tom Farmer to show participants first-hand how they can bring balance and joy to their table.
The goal of this seminar is to enhance the appreciation and enjoyment of wine with food.
This will be a highly interactive session with chef Foster and Trio staff as we go through the process of tasting different wines with and without carefully selected ingredients in order to experience the transformation these foods have on your taste buds.
The seminar will start promptly at 6pm and conclude by 7pm.
